Google Rolls Out Gmail Compose

I read last week on Google's official blog that they would be rolling out an enhanced Gmail. If you are a gmail user and you haven't seen it yet, you soon will. Mine is now live.

What compose does is opens a cleaner looking email window when you begin to write and at the same time, lets you do other things without disrupting that email while you write it.

So for example, if you are writing an email and halfway through have to reference another email in your archive, you can do that without closing or disrupting the email you are composing.

When adding recipients to your email, compose shows pictures of those recipients in the window if they are available.

And when replying to an email, compose takes up less vertical space and expands only as necessary to allow for the length of your reply.
