Twitter Releasing Archives To Users

Okay, here's something I never knew I needed. Since I first signed up several years ago for Twitter I have, as I type this, Tweeted 2,810 times. Well Twitter, apparently concerned that I might need to go back and re-read an old Tweet of mine, is rolling out Twitter Archives. This means I can find out what I thought was so clever when I Tweeted it many months ago. Think about the archive you are building every time you Tweet. Choose words carefully. So how can Twitter users gain access this valuable information?

Twitter says on its blog: "Go to Settings and scroll down to the bottom to check for the option to request your Twitter archive. If you do see it, go ahead and click the button. You’ll receive an email with instructions on how to access your archive when it’s ready for you to download."

They go on to say that if you don't see that option now, you soon will but they are rolling it out slowly. My own Twitter account does not right now present the option. I'll keep checking.
